ABC Blog
Welcome the the Arizona Book Coalition (ABC) Blog. The purpose of this blog is to give members (and prospective members) insights as to ways to make use of, and ultimately help grow, the ABC community.
Why ABC?
With so many social platforms and other sites, why a separate website? That's really the biggest question most people ask, and the answer is pretty simple. This site is geographically focused (Arizona and the Southwest), and topically focused (The literary arts). and guided by members of the community.
a small annual fee manages the automated bot issues, and contributes to covering the cost of running, and upgrading the site.
Who Runs ABC?
Officially, ABC is a project of the literary non profit Anthology, inc. (Mesa Book Festival, AZPoetrypedia, Anthology Writers Conference among other events and projects). As such, it is very community driven, so that the benefits of the site lift both readers, writers, publishers and others in building a strong literary community. See more on the About page.
How's the Blog Organized?
The primary purpose, as stated above, is to inspire members to really use the features of the site to their benefit. The blog is (mostly) organized by use cases, explaining how you can use a specific feature. Interspersed will be posts with announcements and updated intended for a wider audience. Once there are enough posts, we'll organize an index here to help you find the topic most interesting to you more quickly.
What Else?
Help and Member Services are manages by pages and groups within the community. No, you do NOT have to be a resident of Arizona to be a member.
Welcome to the community, and enjoy your time within it.
ABC is a fantastic community building resource for authors, and an even better tool when many authors in a genre come together.
